Hello and welcome! 

I welcome discussion with newcomers as well as veterans for collaborative sessions in new areas as well as familiar ones.  I do paid assignments, portfolio enhancement, as well as TFCD work with clients and models in the greater Chicago area, and I take my work seriously (though not to excess!), striving to give my best on every shoot! 

My studio is in Aurora, IL (which I expect to use more now that the weather is COLD) but I really enjoy location shoots!  They are challenging and rewarding for me, and greatly appreciated by my clients and models. Sure, it’s nice to produce great shots in a perfect environment, but getting great shots in dying light, a limited venue, or with very limited time or resources is something I embrace and enjoy!

I am open to a number of different types of work as I like to challenge myself, including (but not limited to) fashion, glamor, commercial, artistic, fantasy, and promotional as well as personal/private work such as portraits, engagement photos, budior and the like.

My goal is the comfort of EVERYONE working on the project... and of course, getting great shots!  I create a very relaxed environment for my subjects and am quite good at working with individuals new to the camera. 

The way I see it, a model that is comfortable and having fun produces genuine smiles, relaxed expressions and ultimately, wonderful work!  While that doesn't mean that we might not stretch a little, I prefer that everyone is enjoying themselves!  Sure, it's work, but I like it to be FUN as well!  (And Yes, I love to interact with the model... often with REALLY bad jokes!)

Yes, I hire models, Makeup Artists and Stylists for paid shoots (when I'M being paid of course), but I do give preference to people I've worked with before, and know I can count on.  (It's one of the reasons I do so many TFCD shoots!)

Yes, I will work with models/subjects under 18, but, for both our safety, I do require that a parent is present during shooting. (Sorry, but no exceptions.)

Yes, I welcome escorts for models over 18 if you desire, especially if it's our first shoot.  (I do ask to be notified ahead of time.)

My typical turnaround is about a week for first-pass shots, and about 1-3 weeks (after receiving your selections), for detailed touch ups (depending on the number involved).  My website makes that, as well as ordering prints (if you so desire), quick and easy!
