Image by Interface is a Vancouver, BC area digital photography service company for people, places, events and things - worldwide. The company was founded by David Smith, a professional member of the Editorial Photographers Association, whose images are published worldwide. He also teaches photography to photographers, is a frequent guest lecturer on digital and travel photography topics at photo conferences, conventions and cruise ships.
WHAT WE DO
We are photographers for models, actors, professionals, families, corporate, wedding and travel industry clients. We are represented by stock photo agencies in the UK, continental Europe, Australia and the United States.
STUDIO and LOCATION PHOTOGRAPHY
We have access to fully equipped photo studios and have access to models, make-up artists, hair stylists and site locations. We also have portable studio gear and lighting and shoot on location worldwide.
PORTFOLIO PACKAGES:
1. A 3 hour shoot (studio or location) with professional makeup/stylist plus 12 retouched high and medium resolution digital images on CD plus 6 8x10in prints of your choice is $590 plus taxes. 50% deposit and booking in advance required, balance due at shoot.
2. A 1 hour shoot (studio or location in or near Vancouver) and 12 retouched high and medium resolution digital images on CD is $275 plus taxes. Payment and booking in advance required.
3. Custom/On location shoots: Please enquire.
WE ARE PROFESSIONALS
We are 100% professional (but lots of fun!) and we act that way. References are available on request.
We will photograph some clients on a TFCD (time for digital files on a CD) basis if it suits our portfolio and business plan. We continually add to and market our stock photo collection at

- lifestyle activity (shopping, trying on shoes, clothing, jewelry. etc.)
- weight control (measuring tape around belly, standing on scales, exercise/sweating, etc.)
- bikini/glamour on the beach/outdoors/studio
- women/men/couples/kids/seniors for lifestyle stock photography
- fashion/glamour/lingerie in old buildings/industrial setting
- women/couples for mild erotic/glamour/romantic/lifestyle
- women over 25 for edgy/funky/lingerie/glamour/boudoir (studio or on location)
About Model Releases: We require a signed model release (no exceptions) before all shoots, whether it is a TFCD or paid shoot. (since we will be giving you the high resolution files for your own use and we thereby lose control of the image, we need to protect ourselves from someone else using the digtal files inappropriately). We may also photograph you with a close up of your drivers license or birth certificate, regardless of your age. Underage models need their parent/guardian to sign their release in advance.
