MELISSA CUEVA

Born and raised in Southern California, Melissa has always had a passion for hair & makeup. She developed a strong appreciation for varying hair textures during adolescence, when her own hair changed from straight to curly. While learning to manage her new curls, she became more fascinated with the process as a whole and began styling hair for family and friends.

Having been a hair stylist & professional makeup artist for close to 10 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Melissa trained at the Make Up Designatory (MUD) in Burbank, CA. From there she went onto working as a tv / film makeup artist and hairstylist; perfecting updos, finishing skills & most importantly, the lost art of customer service.

In 2014, Melissa finished training at the Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Santa Monica, not only graduating top of her class, but with several awards and words of praise from all her professors. She is now working at Bombshell Salon in Santa Monica.

Melissa’s passion for her craft continues to grow. She doesn’t just give a top notch experience, consistent service, and amazing cuts but she also educates her clients on the proper care and maintenance of their hair between services.
