I wanted to share with you guys an illness that I have..  It's called Gillain Baree Syndrome

All the nerves and nerve cells outside your Central Nervous System make up your Peripheral Nervous System. These include the spinal and cranial nerves, ganglia, and plexuses. Their task is to relay information from your brain and spinal cord to the rest of your body and from your body to your brain and spinal cord.
The PNS consists of 12 pairs of cranial nerves, which emerge from your brain, and mainly send messages too and from your head and neck, lots of which include our senses. It also contains 31 pairs of spinal nerves, which branch off from your spinal cord and supply the rest of your body, such as the organs and muscles.
With the help of our peripheral nerves, we are able to carry out voluntary and involuntary actions, like picking up a fork, clapping our hands or riding a bike. These are voluntary actions.
In contrast, our heart beat and intestinal functions occur without our conscious control. These are involuntary actions and are regulated by our autonomic nervous system. The autonomic part of your Peripheral Nervous System ensures that all our internal organs and glands function smoothly.

Now that we have established why the Peripheral Nervous System is so important to our wellbeing, we can see why Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) is such a devastating disorder.

Characterized by muscle weakness, paralysis of the limbs and breathing muscles, onset of the disorder is sudden and unexpected. GBS can develop over hours or days, or may take up to a month. Symptoms are progressive, increasing in intensity until certain muscles can't be used at all. Occassionally, a patient can become almost totally paralysed. Once the disorder interferes with breathing, blood pressure and heart rate, it becomes a medical emergency and hospitalisation is the only option.




My name is Danielle and I am here just like the vast majority of other young wanna-be's trying to expand my employment opportunities into the modeling industry when time and opportunity presents itself, which unfortunately is still limited to the weekends.

With that said,  I find a necessary evil to sustaining life until I can grow a larger more diverse portfolio, gain more experience and achieve the one commodity in this business money can’t buy, a good repatriation by working with experienced photographers with access into the industry. I do have some experience, which only means I’m not a complete amateur however, I’m not any where near the high end of the experienced ladder either and fully realize that making a living in this industry takes time, persistence, confidence, patience, a good sense of humor and the ability to take rejection and criticism with a smile.

You can easily see I’ve done a little bit of everything,  almost everything,  from sheer lingerie , to fashion, to pin up to nude work.
 
I have high ambitions which balanced with a good sense of reality in that what I’m seeking won’t necessarily jump of the curb, grab me by the leg and drag me kicking and screaming into Sports Illustrated, Playboy, Maxim, Glamour, Stuff magazines or even a Victoria Secret catalog. I completely understand it takes hard work and the competition is stiff.

My interests go from lingerie to high fashion and depending on the assignment and photographer I will discuss sheer or implied nudity but, if Playboy were to ask I would absolutely do full nudes but we all know that’s probably not going to happen.

I’m not into fetish, porn or sleazy type photography and I really don’t need any more TFP/CD work, but I also know better to never say never too. I’m looking mostly for paid work with photographers who have an established portfolio, website and a list of references. I’m available on a sporadic basis only because of other commitments however I will always work in paid assignments to generate income so I can eventually get rid of my weekend job.

Weekday gigs will have to be on a case by case basis since I don’t want to strain my relationship with my real job at the moment since I’m also working on the backup career at the same time in case modeling doesn’t work.

I hope what I’ve written doesn’t leave any one with a sense that I’m conceited and not flexible, but I also know the realities of this industry and not everyone makes a living at it although they wish they could. A girl can only do so much TFP for so long before she asks herself why and if she can honestly make a decent income doing it. So starting out part time and seeing if it takes me somewhere other than where I’ve been is what I’m doing.
