Im a 20 Year old professional photographer and dedicate 100% to my work and expect those who work with me to do so too.
I will do TFP but am quite busy so I cant do everything that is offered to me.
I am trying to build up my contacts within the business and meet new models, stylists and artists to help me expand my portfolio and get ahead in the business
I have been taking digital photos for just over 3 years now but am rapidly excelling in the industry. For a while because of my age and experience I found it hard to get people to take me seriously so as a result I have made a promise look at portfolios of everyone who approaches me. I arrange to shoot with people not based on their experience but based on their potential because I love working with people to help them create the style they want and try my hardest to give them photos that they are very happy with.
A message to those who want to work with me: I edit my photos but I do not like to retouch skin. I will get rid of any major blemishes if I see necessary but will not smooth skin tones. I will also of course use makeup artists - but no major computer retouching. It is my opinion that skin is a beautiful thing and retouching it ruins an image and makes the model far less attractive. My pictures are about telling a story and not creating insecurities for the general public as this is occurring on a regular basis at the moment.
I have been published in Country Life Magazine, the Harrow Observer and currently have an exhibition up in Harrow.
I have also worked for the Daily Mirror and have been promoted by LBC Radio
I Currently use a Canon EOS 350D camera with a 70-300mm lens and 18-55mm lens. I also have access to a studio and sometimes lighting equipment. But not always as they are not owned by me! Almost all my photos are created by using the light around me and I have developed the skill to incorporate that into my own style so for me not having special lights is not a major disadvantage it can just be a bonus if I can get hold of them.
