First off, I consider myself a costume designer above anything else. It is my absolute love and Model Mayhem is a vehicle to showcase pieces I have designed and made. I have an entire room dedicated to wardrobe and I'm looking to capture as many different "characters" on film and digital works as possible. My styling can vary from glittery, girly, and glamourous to demented, derranged, and diabolical. If you have a vision in mind, it will be my pleasure to deliver a tangible product.
Modeling I consider a means of self expression and a way to unleash my alter egos. My style leans more towards avant garde and surrealism, and it is in this direction I wish to build my portfolio. While I am not opposed to other themes, I prefer mature tones and dramatic moods. Some nudity is acceptable but only as fine art content. I have no desire to look like any of the women in Playboy, FHM, and other male driven publications. Pornographic content is out of the question. The female form must be celebrated but never exploited.
My work ethic is extremely professional and I expect no less from you. I keep all my appointments, I am extremely involved with the execution of our photoshoot, and I am willing to work in undesireable enviroments with minimal complaint if it means capturing the winning shot. So in a nutshell, I'm a devoted team player; so you better be on top of your shit because I'm on top of mine.
I always look forward to meeting new photographers, models, MUA's, etc. but please note I use discretion when choosing a new team to work with. Please do not take personal offense if I decline your offer. I do reserve the right to be selective in my choices of team members. Chemistry is #1 in creating lasting images; if your creative style does not vibe with mine then I would not like to waste anyone's time. Good lighting, content, and artistic direction are the elements that will win me over. Examples of photographers I admire are Joe Traina, David LaChapelle, 666 Photography, Lithium Picnic, etc. If your work falls along their similar style, you need to message me ASAP.
I am also a dancer and I am most enthusiastic in using my body to tell a story. I want to bend into uncomfortable positions, I want to jump, I want to let movement escape throughout my body to the tips of my fingers, and I want my pictures to "move". If you ask me to sit and look straight at the camera with a blank expression, I will fucking shoot myself. Don't bother me with boring shit. Challenge me so I can see how far I can push my boundries.
If you need to know, I'm Haitian/Honduran, have 7 piercings, no tattoos, poufy curly hair, and I'm currently blonde. I don't consider myself a classic beauty, so don't ask me to do some cheesy bikini shoot rolling around in the sand. I like weird shit and I consider most unconventional looks to be beautiful. Variety is the spice of life.
