What i've come to realize about photography is that it's a collaboration of multiple properties and is never a creation by a single entity.  There are so many aspects of a great image that it takes time and effort to really create an amazing image.  For example, you may argue that a photographer can take an amazing landscape.  While you're right in the sense that the photographer is the one taking the image, time, location, and other natural entities create a balance between the angle, focal length, and any other aspects of the photographers decision in taking the photo.  With any type of photography there are a million "what if's" that could change an image and my opinion is a great image and an amazing image straddle that thin line of minuscule differences that help it climb into the realm of the amazing.

Since i've dipped my toes into the amazing world of photography and art and fashion i've come to realize a lot about myself both negative and positive, both ugly and beautiful.  I've noticed how lackadaisical and uninspired I can be at times.  I've also seen my passion and love for photography and my determined and undefeatable drive to learn and experience.  I've seen myself transformed into a male diva after receiving praise.  I've also sat around in despair wondering why my images are as terrible as they are and how i can go about shooting an amazing image.  Mainly what i've realized is that anything one does in life is a journey and the path from point A to point B is long and hard, but it's not a journey one needs to travel alone.

Of all the phases of self doubt, pessimism, and uncertainty i've put myself through the past few years of my life I feel has all made me a better person, a more understanding person at that.  My goal for Model Mayhem is to find amazing artists to work with, hopefully those that share my vision of creating the amazing rather than settling for mediocrity.  I've decided that the last two years of my life is my past to be preserved, and rather than resent my work from the past I should be glad for the experience i've received and simply grow to become better because of it.  Photography has been my greatest love and passion and because of it i've found a reason to exist, and with it I want to make an impact on the world and prove once and for all that I exist.  My photography defines me and I define my existence and with my photography I want to prove to myself that I can be that amazing photographer I so desperately dream of being.
