*** NEW FLASH *** I have a van now! Have van will travel! *** This doesn't mean I'm going to drive to Connecticut for an TFCD shoot, but it does mean I'm willing to travel in NC, SC, VA, TN and GA nearby to Asheville if the opportunities arise. It also means shooting locations in the greater Ashevile area, like waterfalls and exotic abandoned buildings etc.
*** Second News Flash *** I want to get back into shooting B&W and shoot more polas, and I'm looking for someone interested in shooting nudes/intimate casual. I would really love to get back into painting and that's what I like to paint. I can't pay the big bucks but I'm willing to work out a deal with talented models interested in this kind of work.
My main background is in painting. Some people say this comes through in the way I treat light and composition in my photos. I am interested in doing more work with painting from my photographs and if you are interested in that please let me know. I am an artist and not a professional.... so unless something changes, I mostly am interested in doing TFCD only! I don't consider myself to be a "Guy With a Camera" and even though I don't do this for a living, it's my goal to give you a chance to get professional quality images.

Most of what you see here in my port is FILM based. I do not own a digital camera, and honestly don't care to. Since I work with film, there is a lag between shooting and getting your images. It also means you will not get 500 images. If you are real lucky you might get 50. It takes me sometimes several days to edit these images for dust and imperfections. I do not do major digital photo retouching and I will not consent to allowing models to retouch my images. I know that all sounds lame, but I think it's more fun that way!
I'm a pretty slow shooter and I like to take my time and chat and get to know my models. I really desire to create images that will reflect not only your beauty and talent, but also capture some of your personality and soul. That's the artist in me. I prefer for things to be friendly and informal, but I will not tolerate unprofessional behavior.
I'm available Sunday's - Thursday's in the mornings until 3PM and in the evenings after 10PM (I AM interested in doing some night shoots!) and Friday's and Saturday's pretty much any time.
Ideas for shoots I have:
- Industrial-type location with either ratty attire / goth / semi nudes... I do have access to a location.
- Waterfalls with long evening dress... yes it will probably get ruined!
- Night shoot in front of neon lights with funky punky fashions.
- Nude / intimate casual shoots... maybe in a grassy field or vacant house, possibly Polaroids.
