DGB born David G. Brown (22) realized his passion for dance at the age of 8 years old when he performed in a local talent show in his hometown (East Boston, MA). Continuing to be inspired by dance DGB joined NIA Dance Troupe (2005) where he began his journey of becoming a professional dancer. Today, DGB is a recent college graduate of St. John's University (2012) where he received a B.S. in Management as well as a dancer and choreographer whose works and performances have been seen on stages across the U.S., Europe, and Africa. He is a former principal member of OrigiNation Inc.'s NIA Dance Troupe where he also served as the Resident Hip Hop Choreographer and Assistant to the Director. Currently he is the Co-Creator & Co-Director of adult dance company NIAorDIE.
As an entertainer, DGB's credits include the Brooklynettes NBA Dance Team, SimonWill Productions, MTV, Vh1 Promos, Boston Urban Music Awards, Prelude New England, World of Dance NYC, Sirens Assassins created by choreographer Rhapsody James (Beyonce, Cassie, etc.), BET's Blaze The Stage, where had an opportunity to work with choreographer Laurieann Gibson (MTB4, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj), BET's 106 & Park & a print ad in Women's Health Magazine. DGB was nominated for "Best Choreographer" at the 2011 Boston Urban Music Awards and received the "Sojourner Truth Award" from OrigiNation Inc. in 2010 for his outstanding choreography and commitment to OrigiNation and it's surrounding community. He is also a recent recipient of the Pulse On Tour (Boston) BDC Scholarship Award.
Recently, DGB has been working with SimonWill Productions (Las Vegas) performing and contributing choreography in a series of shows paying tribute to some of the industry's greatest icons including Elvis, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Madonna, & Lady GaGa. Currently residing in New York City, DGB has been training (Broadway Dance Center), looking for an agent and working hard towards his goal of becoming a Choreographer, Creative Director & Producer in entertainment!
