Hi, my name is Chrissi Barker and I am a Mac trained makeup artist with five years experience in fashion/glamour make up. I love creating distinctive looks for my clients and consider every job, no matter how small or large. Make-up is my life.
I take my work very seriously.
While I appreciate the many offers I receive for TFP/TFCD from photographers on MM I'm really looking for paid work only, but I don't mind collaborating to create an artistic image for my portfolio. This also goes for models, if you have any creative ideas for me to assist with I am more than willing to negotiate with you.

I am nobody just trying to be somebody!
Not the best but not the worst, everyday I get better. I have a dream and I am trying to make a path for others to follow. I am a leader by nature…and a jack of many trades. I will never put others down to push myself forward because that only gets you back at the bottom.
I want someone to notice that I have an “eye” for talent.
I know good work & I know when someone has potential.
I am an open book and up for suggestions.
I am cocky when it comes to my work but not cocky enough to turn away constructive criticism.
You learn something new everyday & I am just trying to open my brain up to new horizons.
My Goal: To go to nursing school and start doing medical makeup and travel to help others know what real beauty is “outside and inside”
It’s not just eye shadow, glitter & foundation that makes us makeup artists, its what we do & how we do it to make others feel good. I believe anyone can do what we do if you just put your mind to it.
I want to look at someone and educate them on how to look at a scar to see beauty in it and have acceptance.
I am not your “A typical” makeup artist by any means.

If you would like to hire me please know that I do not have set rates for my services. Rates are determined by many factors, including:
-When and Where will you require my services
-Complexity of the make-up
-How many looks I will be completing
-How many individuals I will be working on
-The condition of each model's skin (obviously those with extreme blemishes or people of advanced age require more material)
-The amount of make-up I will be using
-Gender of the model
-The final use of the images (whether or not they're just for someone's portfolio, print, advertising, etc...)
