I am a professional part-time French Canadian glamour/fitness model and business woman Living in Alberta, Canada. I have just returned from my 2yr hiatus, all the images on my page are recent, with the exception of the platinum blonde one, I threw it in there for contrast. My old personal portfolio is quite extensive, however it is stuffed with Glamour Maxim inspired images, really racy stuff. I have lost interest in that and decided I want to try a different path.

I believe if you take the time to put yourself out there the right opportunity will come along and if it doesn’t then it was never meant to be.  The only way I would devote myself full time to the industry would be if a really amazing big money opportunity came along. I have been so fortunate to get an early start in the business and even more fortunate to be successful and a natural at what I do. I am proud to say that I am internationally published and experienced beyond my years.

I have recently made a change in the style of modeling that I am interested in, right now I am looking for print, editorial, commercial and promotional projects!
I no longer shoot Lingerie, Swimsuit, Implied Nude for personal use. The exception to this is if it is a test shoot for a magazine or calendar, In which case the photographer is intending to submit the images to the magazine. Or if it is a paid project. Other than that I only wish to shoot Editorial, Commercial, Fashion Glamour. I want my images to be more about the intensity in the face and eyes, pose and atmosphere, and less about how much skin is showing. I believe that an image can still be extremely sexy without showing a ton of skin or any for that matter… Think ads for companies such as GUESS, CALVIN KLIEN, also think glamorous jewellery ads or perfume ads. Spreads you would see in a fashion mag. Need a better idea check out my LISTS.

What is my ultimate goal in regards to modeling? It is to create a brand, my own brand. To be able to say I am a “Playboy Model”  or “Calendar Girl” holds ABSOLUTLY NO interest to me. I do not need a tag like that by my name to be regarded as important.. I am Jacquel Laure, and I plan on building that name the best way I can. I my be young but I am anything but naïve, I do not think that all exposure is good exposure, which is why if I feel as though  your project will not benefit my image it will be rejected.

Note: I am 100% Natural..

Aside from modeling, my future goals are to raise my beautiful baby boy, and be the best mommy I can be. I also want to help out charities related to child welfare, and raise awareness in regards to child cruelty.

**TFP AND TFCD**
*I am open to TFP or TFCD with Exceptional, Established, PROFESSIONAL photographers. Or new photographers whom have great potential an are looking to build their portfolio.
I also expect a CD of all images and the rights to use them for promotional purposes.

All TFCD shoots must be done on an equal basis. I have been contacted by a few photographers that seem to have a problem with this concept. Equal meaning = beneficial to both model and photographer. It hardy seems fair and beneficial to the model when the photographer gives you only a few images on a CD, or ALL the images on a CD that the model can’t do anything with...
As of now I expect to have the right to pick whatever images I want off the CD at my own leisure and have them edited at my own expense, by whomever I wish, granted the copyrite remains..
I disagree with the idea of the photographer taking ALL the images for him/herself and only giving the model a few. That being said I don’t expect all the images to be edited, only a few from the photographer but I must be given the CD of all the RAW images (feel free to weed out all the mechanically incorrect photos if you wish).
(Bacically if you are a photographer, I get the same rights to the images as you do! If you can edit them... I can edit them, if you can sell them...I can sell them, If you can publish them...I can publish them... ect)...(If you can make money off my work then I can make money off yours)
If the above^ doesn’t work for you, You are welcome to make other suggestions on how to make it more equal.

*Traveling is an option within Canada if expenses are paid by client.
I have a 5hr min. for out of town shoots.

* I Always reserve the right to bring an assistant*
