Native New Yorker, James A. Ruggiero is a well-respected and experienced Fashion and Beauty photographer.
He has lived and worked in several countries around the world including Japan, Austria, Italy, Paris, Zurich, Germany and the Caribbean. He has worked with the world’s most prestigious photographers Hashi, Richard Avedon, Scavullo and companies including  Dentsu Advertising, Shiseido Cosmetics, and such publications as VOGUE, HARPER'S BAZAAR, ALLURE and COSMOPOLITAN.

While working with the afore mentioned photographers and companies Ruggiero worked with many of the top names in the fashion industry such as CINDY CRAWFORD, CLAUDIA SCHIFFER, NAOMI CAMPBELL, LINDA EVANGELISTA, CHRISTY TURLINGTON, PAULINA PORIZKOVA, ELLE MACPHERSON and more.
In addition, he has also worked with many of the top talent in the motion picture industry such as PAUL NEWMAN, JOANNE WOODWARD, BARBRA STEISAND, BILL COSBY, KIM BASINGER, RON HOWARD, LUTHER VANDROSS. SUSAN SARANDON, HEATHER LOCKLEAR, MONICA BELLUCCI plus many more...
As an executive he has owned and operated two successful New York based modeling agencies. Currently, RUGGIERO is President of Still Moving Pictures and is a Film Producer at United Spirts, Inc.

Ruggiero’s executive titles include Executive Producer, Producer and Director. He has had the honor to work alongside Mr. Dan Petrie Sr. (“A RAISIN IN THE SUN and FORT APACHE, THE BRONX”), and as Executive Producer and Producer of his documentary “Try To Remember: The Fantasticks” on the world renowned longest running Broadway hit theatrical The Fantasticks; Liza Minnelli, Jerry Orbach, F. Murray Abraham, Tom Jones, Harvey Schmidt, Rita Gardner and many more.

Most recently he accepted appointment with United Spirits Film Company and studios where Ruggiero is executive responsible for design and build of production studios and their operations as well as directing and producing. Still Moving Pictures reopened its photography division in the summer of 2010. Reopening the company is represented worldwide by public relations, talent agency and management with International Artists & Brands, BHPR and CARR + Bjorn...   

For most of his life and professional career, RUGGIERO has always been able to sense the opportunities. "That's what a good producer and photographer should be able to do," he says, "If they can't they sense a good opportunity
then there in the wrong business. After all, timing is everything."
