I AM NOW ON MATERNITY LEAVE UNTIL MARCH 2009!!

I'm 28 and I live in Sheffield UK. I trained in Media Makeup in Sheffield in 1997/8 and I specialised in makeup for film and special effects makeup.
I have now been working in my local independent film network for many years and at last I can consider myself "an emerging makeup artist". I was makeup designer on 2 of the most recent Screen Yorkshire funded short films "King Ponce" (Dec 06) and "Mother Mine" (Oct '07.) I am also venturing in to makeup for TV and have recently worked as Makeup Assistant on a new TV drama "Wuthering Heights" and also The new Brit Flick "The Damned United"

So the upshot of this is that I have now been able to promote myself as a fully fledged freelance MUA and as such have been hired by local independent fashion designers and photographers.


I would love to get more experience in fashion and for this reason will definitely work TFP for strait fashion, and even for body painting. I do not really have a "book" as I'm a film MUA so I have a "Show Reel" but I really want to expand my portfolio with some new shots, that aren't of brides!
