What to expect from a DELUXE PACKAGED photo session with Sean.
Before the Session:
Comfortability is something I thrive on as well as producing quality portraits, and service. When coming to a session, expect to come into a warm and inviting place with many treats at your disposal. I do my best to make my clients (notice I said clients and not customers) feel as if they were at home. A few key differences are getting you a bottle of water or drink of your choice (no alcohol) for your session. Also a few snacks of your choice; think a bowl of mini-Snickers, chips with dip or even fresh sliced fruit wouldn’t hurt the session as well, now would it? A smooth transition into make-up right there on the spot is a very important part of the session. I always allow an extra 30 – 45 minutes before the packaged time for the initial hair/make-up preparation and conversation time with the client. Once make-up, hair, and wardrobe are complete, the packaged session and time begins.
During the Session:
The testing of the lights begins (the first 5 shots) to get the correct color balance and to make sure all equipment is linked properly. Between 40–70 frames will be taken during each hour or after each change of wardrobe. An assistant will be present to help style the client and to make sure the client is comfortable at all times during the shoot. Between every interval (change of wardrobe, or make-up change) there I provide a 15 minute break that is included in the package to insure that there is no rushing.
After the Session:
When the shoot ends, I usually go over a few frames with the client to show them what magic has been made. All proofs will be available to view the same night. The client then chooses the photos that will be processed and retouched, and will receive their complete package within 5-7 business days.
