I had an incredible time working with Brooks in Costa Rica. We shot in some of the most beautiful and amazing places on the planet...in Playa Avellano, a beautiful secluded beach and Arenal volcano and hot springs, which was a gushing, lush mingle of steamy waterfalls and gregarious, exotic flowers. Gorgeousness all round!

Brooks was great fun to work with and is easy to communicate with. He is professional and creative and knows everywhere on the planet it seems that is incredibly beautiful and remote and perfect to shoot in! I had such a lovely time, it really didn't feel like work...can't wait to work together again soon...

I had the privilege of shooting for Brooks Tayler today at Muir Beach in Northern California. Our shoot was last minute planning since we both had cancellations and it was one of the best shoots I have ever been on in my career thus far.

As a professional model, you’re lucky to get a photographer who is professional and courteous on set but with Brooks, he is not only a top notch professional, but a really fun and nice person to be around. Any time a job is not only financially gainful but also doesn’t seem like “work” - is a luxury!

Here are a few of the things I was impressed by in working with Brooks that does not happen with all photographers:

1. Always asks if it is ok before fixing anything for the shot like your hair or giving suggestions on poses.
2. Does not pressure a model to give a certain shot and is not pushy about exceeding comfort levels. A clothed shoot is a clothed shoot and a nude shoot is a nude shoot.
3. Respectful of nudity with proper language and demeanor. No “come-ons” or attitude.
4. Discusses model releases and payments prior to shooting and open to providing images to model for portfolio if desired (straightforward model release and he provides you a copy)
4. Very clear about time frame and making the shoot worth the model’s while.
5. Shows the shots he is taking so you know the material being captured.
6. Calls numerous times in transit to guarantee the shoot is happening and he is not a flake
7. Payment was as discussed and promised. No gimmicks.
8. Makes the models job easy.
9. I could go on and on….. (but the page would get too long!)

I highly recommend this photographer.

  Brooks was truly a great pleasure to do a shoot with. The theme was sensual cowgirl, so I had a blast playing around in an old dairy farm in white cowgirl boots, ripped up shorts and a cowgirl hat! Brooks and his assistant Kris were really mellow and gentle. Working with him is nice because he has a lot of different sets and ideas so I didn't have to stay in one placing racking my brain for a million different poses like sometimes i have to do with less experienced photographers. He was very clear and generous with payment and schedule. I feel like I got paid to play dress up! I definitely recommend working with him and can't wait to work with him again!

  Brooks Tayler was a pleasure to work with. We recently shot at the historic remains of a Louisiana Plantation. His charming personality even loosened up the stuffy security gaurds, enabling us to shoot on the otherwise private grounds. He is extremely professional yet very down to earth and fun to be around. His personality allows you to enjoy the shoot and be yourself. From my experience, Brooks does not push models boundaries. We did not have a lot of time to shoot due to prior engagements, but I had a great time and he captured
