My name is Nikki Campbell and I am a makeup artist now living in Nashville, TN. I started my own company, Blu Artistry, in Charlotte, NC about 2 years ago which provides Makeup Artistry Services for any occassion.
I have been doing makeup for 6 years now. I believe in enhancing natural beauty through a unique and artistic vision. ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO...my favorite type of makeup artistry to do is Glam, Gothic, and Theactrical. HOWEVER, I provide custom blend services!
WHAT I HAVE ACCOMPLISHED THUS FAR:
•Personal Makeup Consultant to over 100 clients
•Join forces with over 10 photographers throughout North and South Carolina
•Collaborated with over 5 Fashion and entertainment companies( (Flava Factory Company), and 2 TV production projects (Charlotte VIBE Talk Show)
•Co-designed over 75 shoots
•Sol makeup artist to over 20 weddings throughout North and South Carolina, and 5 Swimsuit/Lingerie calendar projects
I have also provided services for birthday parties, proms, princess parties for children age 12 and under, makeup classes and woman with low self-esteem.
I DO NOT DO TFP/CD SHOOTS UNLESS I know or receive the following: The photographer gives me prints that focus on the face or area I applied makeup, lighting is good in the picture where you can see the detail of the makeup, the photographer is honest enough to come through with providing a picture, the picture has to be an 8X11 or 8X12, I have a say in which picture I will receive, and the photographer or model provides a $25 refundable deposit(This is just in case I do not receive everything stated above).
DEPOSITS ARE IMPORTANT: A date is not booked until I have received a deposit. IF we speak of a date, and a deposit has not been given, it will be noted as potential, but will not be permanent. I will continue to book shoot for that date without a deposit. To make sure you receive my services on a particular day and time, you can pay a deposit through my PayPal account on my website at

TRAVELING: (From Nashville) If outside of Nashville, I charge $.70 per mile. If traveling by plane is neccessary or cheaper, I expect the client to pay for the ticket and hotel expenses(if needed). (Traveling inside of Nashville) No Charge for mileage.
(To Charlotte): If I am in Charlotte at the time of the event...No Charge for mileage. IF NOT, I charge $.70 per mile. If traveling by plane is neccessary or cheaper, I expect the client to pay for plane ticket expenses. Hotel expenses are not neccessary to pay for Charlotte events.
Here are my rates:
High school and College students faces start @ $30
Otherwise, Faces START @ $50
Face Changes START @ $30
Staying for Touch ups: $50 per half hour
Half a day shoots/events start @ $350
Full day shoots/events start @ 650
Charity event prices start @ $0, depends on the cause and day of the event....
