Michele Yong is a fashion and portrait photographer.
Born and raised in Malaysia, her path to photography did not start until deciding to make a change from music production which had always been her dream instead.
Shortly after picking up the camera and by the time she was 19, she quickly became the official photographer for the Malaysia International Fashion Week (M-IFW 2009) and remains an ongoing contributor to the Malaysian international Fashion Alliance (MIFA).
At only 22, some of Michele Yong's clients already include Levi's, ETRO, Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation, Jonathan Liang, Nue, Farah Khan, ULTRA, Sereni & Shentel, Carnet de Mode, Lemon Curve, Bower Haus, Syomir Izwa and Myphilosophy.
With works described as a new combination of romanticism with a raw edge, her photographs have appeared in Le Monde, Marie Claire, Factice Magazine, Faint Magazine, Glam, Women's Weekly, Prestige, Ode To Liberty, Tongue in Chic, Juice and Oxygen.
Working and traveling frequently within Europe and Asia, she continues to work with many international models, designers and artists all over the region.
Michele Yong is currently based in Paris.
