Hi I'm Sean Marshall. I'm a Detroit base photographer/artist looking to network with other artists and models.
It doesn't hurt to ask however I will warn you, I am very selective with TF*. If you don't believe you are or could be the next big model, I mean no offense and please don't take it personally if I respectfully and humbly decline. I'm just a little burned out with noob models right now and free portfolio building is wearing me out.
On the other hand, if you know you are just "that hot" and if you are serious about your work, as I am about mine, AND if I don't have to explain why a MUA is quintessential or even what a MUA is, and by then, if you have it going on like that and you still want to shoot a TF* with me, then by all means, Hell Yes! I will gladly shoot you TF*.
If you'd like to book any type of shoot, please fill out the from below and paste it in an email, I will return the message ASAP. Also, if you plan on working with me,
first read my bio and my FT* policy (if its a TF*) so you know what you are working with and there won't be any surprises.
1) Style of shoot you want done.
2) Any ideas or concepts you have in mind (if any).
3) When you would like to shoot (and be specific, I need a time and date)
4) Do you have a MUA?
5) If you would like to know what sort of work I am always looking to shoot, just read my casting calls and take a look through my "lists".
This is what I need to consider your shoot "booked".
1) Initial email with above form filled out.
2) Some form of confirmation that you will be there either the night before or the morning of at the absolute latest, preferably 24 hours in advance would be great. If you don't confirm your shoot, there won't be a shoot.
I'm always ready to go if you got the look!
If you are ready to shoot this weekend or even sooner, get with me! Much of the time I can be ready to go with an hour's notice. If you got the look I'm seeking, and if you're ready to shoot, I'm ready to shoot you! Let's make it happen!
My personal opinion on Comments Trading:
If you came to my MM page to return a comment or a tag please feel free to be perfectly honest even if you have some ideas for improvement. Furthermore, if you don't see anything in my portfolio that inspires you to comment at all,
feel free not to "return" comments, I won't be offended. I don't do the whole comments for comments thing so if I dropped you a comment its because your work was inspiring to me I enjoyed it. You are never obligated to comment back.
My personal policy and pledge to all models concerning TF* work:
Preface: My word is my bond. None the less, I still put my words in writing prior to any and all TF* shoots. If you read this section in it's entirety, I am sure you will find my ways of doing business fair and reciprocal to both of us. My goal in all relationships, be it business or pleasure is positive reciprocation.
1) I will NEVER publicize or any images that the model feels uncomfortable with the outcome. You have my word and my signature on that. I'm sure we both understand that not all images I shoot are magazine covers. I guarantee that you will never be shocked and or surprised to see that I published an image of you that you are not proud of. Even If we disagree and I like or even love the image, if the model doesn't like it, it stays our little secret and no one else will ever see it unless you change your mind. I believe in karma and treating others the way you want to be treated. To use an image that the model disapproves of would be bad energy.
2) I will NEVER disappear with your images. I strive to produce a
minimum of three, re-touched, hi-res images with in 7-10 days after the shoot. You will never have to track me down, I will contact you with updates as to the progress of your images and when they are ready. I will either email, regular mail or personally deliver the CD or prints to you.
3) I will shoot any style but I will never pressure you to do nudes. If your portfolio doesn't already have nude/s in it, and if your bio doesn't indicate "nude shoots" I won't even ask you or even mention shooting nudes! I feel that to do so would be extremely rude and unprofessional. Am I looking to expand with very selective artist nudes and artistic/erotica? Yes, of course I am! Why, because sex sells both your product and mine. However, I feel that if a model is comfortable with me and wants to do nudes or implied nudes she will let the me know. Not to mention, I actually read bios and spend a lot of time doing my homework on each and every model prior to setting up a shoot with them. I like to know ahead of time a model's style. In short, I'm down with just about whatever the model is down for, let's do this but I'll never ask about nudes unless I can see that's how you roll already. That's about as low pressure as it gets.
4) I don't guarantee images or CDs the same day. Sometimes I will attempt to deliver images the same day of the shoot if that's what I have to do for the job but it's not a guarantee. Here's why, and notice that my policy is for both your and my protection: I don't release MY work if I am not happy with the results, Just like I wont publish an image that you aren't happy with. Since I don't like total strangers doing my re-touch work it's almost impossible to predict that I will approve of the end result. I've seen a lot of substandard and even some downright bad re-touch work, I don't want my name as an artist on such substandard work.
5) If I give you an image with a water mark on it I require that you do not remove that water mark. If there is a scenario that arises where you need to remove the watermark, you are free to contact me and discuss terms. My signature on the image is the only thing I get out of our TF* arrangement. I will never skip town with your images because that is my payment to you, likewise I require that you do not remove my signature or watermark from the image without my consent because that is my payment for doing this with you in the first place. AT NO TIME, EVER do I allow my work to be published, even on a personal web page such as MM, facebook or myspace
without one or more of the following; a watermark, credit captions on the page or cash payment. It's the law actually, to do otherwise would be copyright infringement. So basically, I'm just asking you to agree to be professional and respect my rights as I respect yours.
6) In the event that I receive monetary profit from our collaboration, you will be compensated with a cash royalty payment even though it was a TF* and I am under no legal obligation to do so. That's just how I roll. I am not a capitalist seeking to exploit, I am a social entrepreneur seeking to build.
7) I will always credit models (unless asked not to) on all TF* work with a link to the model's page so that my page can help reciprocate some exposure to models who have worked with me.
