About me
Thanks for visiting my profile. I am a professional photographer based in the Waterloo region of Ontario, Canada. I have been photographing Street, Nature, and Art since 1970, gaining experience documenting railroads from 1992-2006. I re-discovered photography as an art form and part time career in 2007, then went full time in 2009. Photography parallels some of my philosophical outlook, such as the connectedness and tension between the real and the imaginary, and beauty as a process of discovery.
My technical skills are advanced, having worked with film, darkroom, digital and studio lighting systems. I am interested in learning a lot of conventional styles, and exploring original concepts. I'm currently experimenting with computer generated graphic techniques in post production.
I share a studio in Cambridge near the 401. On location work is possible and welcome, too. If you need to know more about anything, just ask.
