Nearly Civilized

Work? I prefer fun, casual and energetic. And never without music! Comfortability and professionalism are paramount. Up for anything and whatever the project, I bring class, enthusiasm, and balls. I am more hi-fi than lo-fi.

Technique: genre splicing, BOLD color, chroma-noir, m o o d y shadow, high contrast, a touch of graphic art. Hyperrealism, the 'out of context', pushing the envelope - all things I enjoy.

Areas of concentration: concept, glamour, artistic, would love to do more editorial and fashion. Portraits are just a small part of what I do.

Approach: Whenever possible, I prefer to build professional relationships over time, rather than shoot once and that's it.

Back-story: Started taking photos while retouching in Los Angeles and am grateful to have learned from some talented pros.
