Jazmin Despaigne, (born July 5, 1984), better known by her stage name LuMi’ Naughty (or LuMi’), is a unique multi-faceted rapper, with experience in modeling, dancing and rapping in multiple genres. Nominee & winner, of the 5th Annual Carolina Music Awards Hip Hop Female of the year category.
Born in Bronx NY, but raised in Washington Heights (uptown Manhattan). Like many, LuMi’Naughty had grown up in a volatile neighborhood. Drugs, drive by’s and more. Poetry was a vice used as an “escape from reality.” With the ability to overcome the odds of being a product of her environment, LuMi’Naughty has much to offer. Her versatility and unique way of being, defines who she is.

Her Puerto Rican & Cuban bloodline adds a certain “Caribbean spice” to her music. She has an uncanny ability to combine various genres in her music. These include Hip Hop, Rap, Reggaeton, Pop, Latin, Dance Hall and more. Her innate ability to combine different genres lead to LuMi’Naughty’s emergence as the First Lady of the group, CTP, Controllando the People known as J-Anonymiss AKA J’Dez. When asked what she plans to achieve, she responded: “I am a Cross Genre Female Emcee… I’m coming for it all and my overall goal is to make a positive impact resulting in positive changes whether in music or the world!
