**QUICK NOTE: Bear with me for a bit. I'm recovering from knee surgery at the moment and will be limited on projects I can do at least til mid-February. I'll still be on crutches then but if its a simple project, (no hiking, no lifting heavy stuff, etc.) it can be considered.**
I am a pro photographer and have been in Las Vegas since July 07. For the purposes of Model Mayhem, I am an art photog specializing in artistic nudes, landscapes, and portriature. I do mainly TFP work with models, because that's not the genre of photography where I make my living therefore I don't make a special attempt to profit from it. My model work is mainly for me and my own artwork (mainly exhibition, contests, promotional), although it is sometimes a collaborative endeavor between myself and the model who might need specific work done. I am a craftsman, maintaining top of the line gear and I study my trade on a continuing basis. I used to be a model myself so I have a unique perspective of the model - photographer relationship. I love hippies! But, I don't need models to be perfect little hotties. I like imperfections. I like the mature. I embrace the different. Edgy? Bring it on.
TOP THREE PROJECTS AND ENDEAVORS:
1.) I am still working on shooting nudes in natural outdoor environments in Nevada and Utah parks, as well as places in Colorado, Arizona, and Southern Cal.
2.) During this same time period, I want to also do indoor nudes of models in THEIR natural enviornment, shooting in their homes or favorite places where they kick back and relax. I'd also like to photographically document a segment of your life in which you go about your normal routines at home.
3.) Looking for a
PHOTO MUSE or two: For spontaneous shoots that have no design, concept or project plan. This is just give me the opportunity to shoot for the hell of it, to experiment, or just because I'm in the mood. This person(s) will be a shapely female, preferably with long hair, who has time on her hands and would love nothing better than to take off her clothes and have her picture taken. AND she's got to have a great spirit and an attitude that lends itself well to the camera.
I hope to be able to find like minded models that would love to help contribute to my goals and be part of an artistic adventure. You can see more of my work on my website,
www.PhotoAnthems.com or you can click on my blog link,
www.PhotoAnthems.blogspot.com, for updates and good information for photogs and models.
**NOTE - Things you probably won't see in my portfolio:
Models with guns, snakes, wings, or horses. Chances are you won't see my nudes wearing high heels hanging out of a tree.
FRIEND REQUESTS * FRIEND REQUESTS * FRIEND REQUESTS:
If you're gonna do a friend request, at least take a sec or two to say something to me. Leave a photo comment, tag or something...I mean come on! Nice port, nice pic, and the usual comment nuggets aren't what I am talking about either. You holla at me...I holla back. Thats what friends do.
Check out my latest book, "A Year in Review of the Nude: 2011"
This is a retrospective look at the artistic nude collection of Terrell Neasley and the collaborative works created with extraordinary models shot over the course of the 2011 year. Seven different models with various styles and personalities who chose to work with Terrell for various reasons and expectations, make up this annual documentation. Some models had never posed nude before and some are professionals who do this for a living, traveling to Nevada from as far away as New Mexico and even Southern Texas.
