Nightmare Photographer/Conceptual Director/Hair Stylist
Since the age of 6, I have been interested in the art form of the human body. Studying anatomy and medical textbooks brought with it a wealth of interest to know more about physiology and what it means to be alive. After seeing Joel Peter Witkin's early work in the late 70's and early to mid 80's, I became interested in cameras. His focus on the absurdity of human nature plus the idealism that our bodies can become art even in death gave me what I needed to see. I didn't start shooting polaroids until my early teens but, instantly, I knew that my vision was to create nightmare photography.
PLEASE READ THIS:
Interested in original, expressive and bizarre portraiture ONLY. Think of Mary Shelly's world in Frankenstein and Alice In Wonderland having a nightmare combined. I will also consider doing some color portraits but I'd like to focus more on weird black and white portraiture.
For now I'm looking to plan TF* shoots with local talent with a creative flair and an open mind.
I am not shooting right now but focusing on my hair design. Please contact me on there...
