The best way to get to know who I am is to meet me and talk to me, otherwise (let's be honest), you will never really know.
I like to think of myself as care free, but like all, I know at times I complain. But I know that I love to laugh and I hate to stay angry or sad for long.
I love challenges, otherwise I would be bored with life.
My name is Marquelle, in case you wanted to know. I'm a 19 year old girl residing in Fort Collins, Colorado. I have recently discovered a passion in science and I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences, hoping and working to become a doctor, surviving the baby stages of college, getting my undergrad.
Though I am not going into art as a profession, I do believe that it will always be a passion of mine and it will always remain a hobby and a job on the side if needed be. I know I love to get my creative side on every once and a while, and I will do so to get my fix.
I don't have any limitations, though, I rather have much variety in what I do and I don't like to follow cliches. Meaning... if you want me to do a glamor shot of you, I don't want it to be bland with plain makeup. If you want me to do fashion, don't expect me to take you to a gorgeous place with great lighting and beautiful clothes. I don't do photography that often anymore... so it takes a little more for me to be inspired.
I will give you creative, yes... But I won't try very hard to make it look the most professional it can be. I won't make you look plastic and perfect. I won't make you look like the goddess of heaven... I will make you look beautiful, yes... but it may not be something that you would describe as beauty.
I love different. I love new. I love variety. We all should know that there isn't such a thing as original, we cannot make any new archetypes... but we can create something interesting... so catch me at the right time when I am inspired or give me ideas and let's get something worked out if you're interested.
I usually just do trade... but if you're looking for any regular photography from me, I will for a price. It's negotiable.
Also, I do tutorials and lessons. I charge for those as well.
$20 an hour for lessons. There's nothing that there are certain lessons for... It's basically ask and tell. Tell me what you want to know, and I will walk you through it. You can bring your own photos and anything you want to do to them, I can show you how in photoshop. I have Adobe Photoshop CS2 and a wacom tablet. I will show you using these tools.
You will have to drive to my home since my desktop computer resides there.
Tutorials... it depends on the tutorial, so it is negotiable. The price will be discussed before it is made. I will send a small watermarked version once it is done, then I will inform the costumer... the costumer must pay before I send/post the finished product.
Once the tutorial is made, I do post it for everyone to view so it doesn't have to be done again. I have already done a tutorial for my mermaid photomanipulation. If you would like a link, just message me.
Photoshopping Your Photos...
Depends on what you want done... If it is just simple edits such as touch-ups like lighting, toning the skin, shadows...etc... $10 a photo.
If you want something like what I did for my mermaid photomanipulation, it would cost a bit more. Again, depending on what you want me to do... it's negotiable. Like the tutorials, the price will be discussed before-hand... I will send a small watermarked version of the finished product when it is done. With the costumer's satisfaction, the payment will be done by paypal, and then the finished product (full) will be sent.
-I do put credits to myself on my paid commissions... but they will be small.
-Paypal will always be the payment method for online purchases.
-If you are in my area, other payment methods are accepted. (such as check or cash)
-If you have a due date that you would like it by, make it very clear up front... sometimes it could take me some time if not given a time to be done by.
If you would like my e-mail or phone number, it will be offered after conversing via messaging.
Thank you for reading.
