Mayhem # 59634
[06-20-08 - I want to apologize to everyone, it has now been over a full year since I have logged on or done any shoots. I only logged on for a minute today but Implan to be back & shooting in the next couple of months... thanks for understanding ]
I am a volunteer director of an exotic animal rescue charity, so I started out shooting wildlife. I discovered that I love studio work and shooting people so I look for models to help expand my portfolio and try new and creative ideas. I am interested in a broad range of styles and love trying out lighting and ideas I havent tried before.
PLEASE NOTE: I now have 40 photos, so please be sure to look at the second page of pictures too!!! THANK YOU TYLER for giving the free membership to the raffle!
I do not like computer manipulation of images, so my photos have no touch-up or minimal editing. I will edit some shots, however for the most part I find it sad that it is now the expected standard to use photoshop before displaying your images. I love edited shots when it is for artistic effect and is obvious in the final photo. Whenever possible I leave my photos as they were originally taken.
PLEASE DO NOT ask me to model with the big cats. They are rescued animals and I would be endangering their future as well as other rescued animals. I would be happy to bring anyone out for a tour, but I will not do any photoshoots with the big cats under any circumstances. Please do not ask.

Fashion Show, Nassau, Bahamas - "Colors" featuring original designs by Elvardo Wilson
I shoot tfp/cd with models because I enjoy it and I like to try out new ideas. I do not pay models nor do I want model to pay me to shoot them. I prefer to do this just to see what we can create together. Of course, companies and magazines are a different story.
UPDATE: Not only have photographers told me I should charge for portfolio shoots, but I have finally been convinced by a model that I shouldn't only shoot free. Therefore, as of now, I will only shoot tfp/cd if you have a look that fits exactly into a shot I want or I am very excited about working with you. Otherwise, I will NO LONGER ACCEPT TFP REQUESTS. Please contact me for rates. I will work with models on my prices based on the model and the type of shoot requested.
If we have already been in communication, I will honor the original commitment and still do the shoot free of charge.
