And while you're at it, please check out my new book:
"The Face Of Hollywood"! I shot it in 1976 - before I went the route you see on these ports. It's a photojournalistic time capsule about the "street people" of Hollywood - with a few nostalgic celebrities thrown in.
The Face Of Hollywood
***********************************************************
I've been a professional photographer for 35 years. I attended Art Center College Of Design in Los Angeles and Pasadena (the school moved during my tenure). In Los Angeles, I specialized in fashion, advertising, record covers and fine art nudes. I moved to NYC where I operated a studio for 7 years - again specializing in fashion, advertising and fine art nudes. But then I added comedy to the mix of glamour and nudes - and things took off. That led me to start a greeting card company called Brazen Images in 1981 which specialized in adult humorous greeting cards. The company went through the roof for me. They started out modestly in nature but became more explicit as the years (and customer demands) went on. Then the tides turned. Political attitudes towards the cards changed. The country became more conservative. We had to put up with Reagan (with his Moral Majority) and Bush Part 1 and Part 2 (with all of their Born Again nonsense). Alternative greeting card stores went out of business 10 and 20 at a time - per MONTH. And the internet eventually killed the demand altogether due to email and e-cards. I closed Brazen Images in 2006. It ran exactly 25 years. From December 1981 to December 2006. But I continue with that portfolio nonetheless.
In 2003 I started another company called "Naughty Nostalgia". Naughty Nostalgia specializes in the restoration, preservation and presentation of your parents' 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm stag films from the 1900s to the 1980s (pre-video). We have the catch phrase: "Is your mom in one of them?" HA! (Could BE! I actually found one of my OWN relatives in one from the 1930s!)

I now live in Cape Coral, Florida and have several book projects in the works - as well as a feature film project.
I am seeking female nude models in the Cape Coral / Ft. Myers, Florida area for several projects - both with photography and film (video). My needs involve complete and total nudity - but I understand that yours sometimes do NOT! So I am perfectly willing to TFCD. You will get what you need and I will get what I need.
I have multiple portfolios which I am constantly adding to. They are all conceptual in nature - rather than just a bunch of fluff. You can see that work on all three of my ports. So I'm constantly in need of nude models for these projects.
You give me what I need - and I'll give you what you need. Just ask - and we will trade off.
Sorry... but I will not respond to anyone under 18 years old regarding my personal erotic projects. Firm.
And... y'know... if you're NOT interested in doing nudes, WHY EVEN CONTACT ME???? "Implied" nudes are NOT nudes! Do you also eat "implied" FOOD? I've had several models read this profile and look at the photos on all three ports - and then message me to to tell me that they don't do nudes! HUH? Was I somehow not clear about this?
One last point. I will not tolerate "flaking" in any way, shape or form. When a model flakes on me, I make a point of notifying every photographer that I know in the SWFL and NYC areas about that model - by name. When we book a shoot, I supply every model with two phone numbers, an email address - and of course they already have this MM messaging system as well. That's FOUR WAYS to contact me if they've changed their mind... or have a conflict... or need to reschedule... or had a flat tire... or got sick... or WHATEVER! And that's ALSO four ways to contact me AFTER they've flaked to explain what happened.
So models, take note. This is a BUSINESS. Not a GAME! If we book a shoot together - and you flake on me - you had BETTER get in touch with me REAL FAST and tell me WHY - or YOU'RE going to be in the next email notice (by name and MM #) that I send out to all photographers in the SWFL and New York areas.
Now... having said that... I am extremely easy to get along with. Just ask any of the models on my port that I've worked with - and they will vouch for me. I'm FUN! And the work is quite often FUNNY - 'cause I do some crazy stuff! So you know that I must be INCREDIBLY pissed off at the sheer numbers of flakes that I've encountered lately - and that my patience has been taxed beyond its limits - for me to have posted this warning.
So remember... "networking" works BOTH ways. You can build a good reputation - or a BAD reputation!
!!!DON'T FLAKE!!!
That's it for now!
Thanks - and I hope to hear from you.
Kurt
