I am an exhibited painter, competitive marathon runner and Ironman triathlete, so I bring an artist's eye and an athlete's work ethic to the modeling assignments I choose to do. I am a courteous, reliable and prompt model whose experience includes work with photographers creating fine art, fitness and stock images on location and in the studio and with figure drawing groups, art schools and painters.
I am looking for projects that have an edge, stir an emotion or require a high level of artistry or physicality. I think the human body is art unto itself and I am not afraid to show mine, but only for professional photographers who produce tasteful photographs and artists who are looking to capture the beauty and the flaws of the human form.
In terms of body type, I am an endurance athlete, so my body is very lean and muscular, which makes it interesting to photograph or draw. I also practice yoga regularly, which has given me the ability to create and hold difficult poses. I always arrive early, have never canceled a modeling job and am very relaxed and easy to work with. I am also frequently called upon as a last-minute replacement for models who are unable to make a photo shoot or drawing session, so please keep me in mind if you're ever in a pinch.
I have a full-time job and training is like having a second full-time job, so I have to be selective in the modeling projects, artists and photographers I choose to work with. Please understand that if I am unable to work with you, it's probably just a lack of time in my schedule.
Some fun facts about me:
- Because of all the endurance training I do, I'm sporting about 5 percent body fat.
- I have no tattoos.
- I have one major scar on my right inner forearm that resulted from a water-skiing accident.
- I have a scar on my right hip from a bicycling crash.
- I have a wear-and-tear scar on my tailbone from too many sit-ups ... or too many motorcycle crashes. ;-)
