John Watson Jr

I am a photographer who specializes more in photos of places and things than people. For years now I have been shooting landscapes, cityscapes, art, nature, and the things around us. While I have dabbled in model and wedding photography, most of my people photography has been friends, family, and attended events. I do love photographing people. With inanimate objects the photographer creates emotion. He or she uses light, angle, or framing to attract the viewer to something special. People photography is much different. There you, as the photographer, are catching emotion with the lens. Not creating. It's much different. It's something that I take great pleasure in.

I don't have much desire to shoot studio photos right now. Not interested in dragging out the lights and backdrops. I want to shoot outside. Natural or man made backdrops. If we shoot together, and you need or want some studio photos, we can work that out. I have all the required equipment. I am not looking to do any nude photography.

I'll do TF* or paid work.

I do have a portfolio full of more recent work; mostly not model photography that I will share if you email me. I won't post that here as this is "model" mayhem.

**New Project**
I am working on face shots of different models in different makeup. Mild to wild. Light to dark. I have a MUA, but would also like to work with models who do their own.
