Douglas Sequoia Kehl, born Hong Kong, raised Upper West Side Manhattan, graduated with a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art & Design on scholarship. He was trained in the Photography Department, Fashion Institute of Technology, where he earned his Associate in Applied Science degree in Photography (Portrait, Fashion & Digital). He was active in the Photo Club there, organizing shoots for fellow photographers, student, models and designers. That lead to the coveted 2004 cover of Sinar Bron Imaging Catalog. In addition some of he's images have been seen on the giant plasma screen on the side of Macy's, New York, location at 34th Street and 7th Avenue. More recently shooting backstage at the Olympus Fashionweek Spring 2006.
