Hi, my name is Bernadette (Berni, for short). I am an aspiring photographer and a recent graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado. My photographic passions include portraiture and light painting, and I often combine the two in order to achieve a certain style in my portraits. I seek to bring out a person's personality, or part of their "essence" through my portraiture.
I recently completed two full portfolios, which can be seen on my website
www.atenciophoto.com . Because of this I am trying to find more paid work as a photographer now, but I am still open to doing some trade-for-work deals as well. Just ask, and I might say yes.
I am also available to photograph head shots and for model and/or MUA, etc. portfolios. Just e-mail or message me and we can work out a deal.
I'm also looking for any makeup artists interested in doing a trade-for-work and who may need a photographer for their own portfolios.
I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to photo-shoots in that I'm open to ideas from models etc, and like leaving room in a shoot for serendipity.
I encourage bringing a companion to the shoot, especially if you feel nervous. I'll usually have an assistant with me during the shoot as well.
I'm willing to shoot on location around Colorado (depending on how far from Dever-area).
Right now I usually work from home, or rent studio space when I can. I own my own studio lighting equiptment as well.
