(Update: Nov. 2012 - Currently on hiatus, but still available for special projects and the occasional random photoshoot - I'm even doing a little TFP work now when I have time... Just message me here!)
Unlike most photographers, I specialize in Old-Timey Portraits and other vintage/retro shoots. There are plenty of other great photographers in the area doing most everything else (and I'd be happy to recommend some of the best to you), but I like to specialize in the fun retro/vintage looks and effects!
My charming and talented assistant, Kim Wilcox

can be at the studio upon request to assist you with your wardrobe & accessories.
My studio features, among other choices, an "Old Time Saloon" (which is my most popular set with just about everyone) with plenty of fun props and a HUGE variety of vintage clothing and costumes for men, women, and children of all ages and sizes. It is located just a couple of miles off US Highway 71 near Anderson, Missouri, and is in a very heavily forested and hilly area, so outdoor woodland shoots in natural light on my property are another option.
Unlike too many other Old-Time Photo operations that do business at Tourist Traps and Carnival events, we don't try to rush as many customers quickly in & out using "the same old pose" to make as much money as we can... I TAKE TIME to work WITH YOU to get a truly unique image that you'll really be proud to hang on your wall, give copies to your friends and family, and yes, even post online! Unlike most others in the 'Old-Timey Photo' trade, I grant you permission to use the portrait images online for your personal portfolio use! (Commercial uses such as _resale_ of images requires a _very_ reasonable fee.)
That means it is OK to post your images on Model Mayhem, Facebook, MySpace, etc... Or use them as an avatar. Or just email them to friends and family. The standard license covers that & more!
I have my own photo-processing machine on site (very high quality dye-sublimation) so I can also provide photo prints up to 8x10" for you. No need to wait and/or take your images elsewhere to be printed. (This is especially convenient if privacy is a factor for you.)
