Currently I'm seeking models of all shapes and sizes for roles in my artwork. I generally do an interview in the form of a free portrait session and if the model is local we start at the local mall doing paperwork
Be sure check out the link to my Facebook Page I have a lot more work on there and I recommend you Like Page it to follow my work.
Questions are welcome at any point and here is an outline:
My ideal is to be the consummate professional in my dealing with all persons modeling for me and at the same time providing a superior result for those who want TFP or are working for me on a TFP/Pay basis. I try to show people respect and just ask to be treated the way I treat others.
Under-18: standard rules and regulations apply. No funny business with nudity or suggestive photos but that is OK because you don't need that since I am an artist. Aside from following all the rules I'll expect the same of you as the over-18 models. You do need parental/guardian permission. If they OK it you can take the release home for them to sign and mail back for free.
Over-18: it's pretty much a matter of aptitude and what you are good at. Everyone is good at something as a model if not several somethings it's just a matter of bringing them out visually and to do that you need vision that goes beyond surface appearances. I may expect some things like keeping a scheduled appointment on time but I do not require nudity to work with me.
It's a fact I do far more non-nude work.
If you are going to consider doing a Fine Art Nude session with me I have some things for you to consider.
First let me address how they will be used. I use nudes on the Internet very sparingly and generally only people who I know are OK with it on a specific image. I like to get my models as Friends on Facebook because it makes it easier to check/ask if it's cool or not. I don't actually have to do that legally so it's not like there is a law to make me it just seems like playing nice so to speak. I tend to be very courteous. Well plus I've shot like 100,000 photos so I can afford to use my nudework sparingly. I do it to try to make good images not get attention.
Another aspect of doing Fine Art Nude worth noting is my abstract style. There will definitely be images where it will be up to the models if they want to own them publicly. There's every chance one you wouldn't even know yourself but for me telling you. These are Fine Art images as well just ones where the model is anonymous in the composition. When I do use a nude online I tend to favor the abstracts anyways so if I ask you about it chances are that is what it will be. They can take a long time to make after the initial session. Another thing I'm using Facebook for letting you the model see paintings I do that take longer.
I'm using both non-nude and nudes in my painting increasingly. Even in the nudes the focus will be more like a nude portrait. I've been turning increasingly to conceptual artwork so I'd expect you'll see more of that. The abstract portraits and stuff I'm doing is more important to me than the nudes that's why I don't care if you do them or not.
I need to develop my figure work (painting) for some stuff I want to do in the future. That's the main use I'll put future nudes to because I do work from photographs on basically everything and more importantly what is needed from the photos is different from my work in the past. Even before I do a thing with it in the computer it may be abstract.
I'm willing to agree to conditions to make you comfortable too. Like that the photos themselves stay private and that resulting paintings not be so lifelike as to give you away
