Driving down the wrong road and knowing it,
The fork years behind, how many have thought
To pull up on the shoulder and leave the car
Empty, strike out across the fields; and how many
Are still mazed among dock and thistle,
Seeking the road they should have taken?
~Damon Knight, The Man in the Tree, 1984
‘But then I made the mistake of responding too
much to his kindness, of taking hold of his hand before he’d take hold of mine, of holding
on to his arm and leaning on his shoulder, of appreciating his kindness more than he
wanted me to, and , suddenly last summer, he began to be restless…' Elizabeth Taylor in Suddenly, Last Summer c. 1959
As a photographer I am influenced by much of what I see and experience. Not just other photographers, but by film, song, attitude, scent, and emotion. Some influences are quite obvious within my work, others may be quite subtle.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once at the number three, being the third number be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."
