I'm looking for fellow visual artists to create images that are beautiful, terrible and transfixing - many of my images are portraits and I'd like to move away from that direction - but not abandon it entirely!
What I can offer you:
I'm pretty fearless and brazen and open to many different ideas. My most prevalent traits are a childlike curiosity, playfulness and sense of mischief.
I have a lush bellydance wardrobe, encompassing everything from glitzy bra/belt/skirt/veil combinations, to earthy Afghani tribal jewelry and textiles, to vintage Vaudevillesque, to Gothic dance costuming. I also have a fair amount Medieval/Renn garb as well as Goth and Goth light street wear.
****I am currently a 'work in progress' on a low back tattoo that sweeps up and over my right hip. You can see images via my website link.****
I take direction well and even appreciate it!
I do my own hair & make-up and will apply it to a photographers specifications if desired. Of course, I'm happy to allow a MUA to do it for me.
What I won't do:
I don't usually do nude work unless it is 1) an art nude and 2) with a photographer I have built a trusting relationship with through numerous previous shoots - although there are exceptions to every rule if I really, really like your portfolio.
I won't stand you up - I always call if I can't make it or if I'm going to be even 5 minutes late (yes, I'm a bit retentive about timeliness)
Oh, and no porn.
The nitty-gritty details (or what I expect):
I'm open to compensation via cash and TFCD. If we work on TFCD basis, I expect to leave the shoot with a cd/dvd of the images or receive one within a week. I do bring a laptop with me and have the capability to download on-site. I'm pretty darned handy with CS2 so I prefer the following formats (in order of preference): .raw, .tiff, .png, .gif.
I respect that many photographers have copyright concerns or have a trademark processing method. Please understand that my desire to have ALL of the images is to analyze my own performance so that I can be a better model in the future. I certainly respect a photographers right to not have his/her images posted without permission.
If we work on a cash basis, I do not expect to receive any prints or digital images (though it would be a kind gesture!)
I prefer initial contact via Model Mayhem.
