Interactive Theater Packages
Murder Mystery & Mayhem LLC. is a small company of professional actors who offer interactive murder mystery theater packages to venues throughout the Hudson River Valley, from NYC to Albany. Our packages can be tailored to meet specific needs serving groups as small as 20 to well over 100. Shows can be adult themed intended for more mature audiences such as bachelor(ette) parties, or tame enough for family entertainment such as a children's birthday party or corporate conference. All scripts are written and produced by Murder Mystery & Mayhem LLC. All rights reserved. The packages are written as a guide to structured improv. So actors with some improvisational experience required. All roles are PAID on a per gig basis. Because these packages are produced without scripted lines we are able to hire/cast from the professional unions AEA (Actor's Equity Association) SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio) without breaking any rules or violating any member rights. Depending on the size of the package and the venue there is sometimes additional money to be earned but as a general rule actors are paid between $150 to $200 per gig and given a very nice dinner. Some additional money for travel may also be available in some cases. Each gig is usually a 3 to 4 hour total commitment. This includes a brief rehearsal and performance in the same evening. Cast actors are sent materials ahead of time and given the oppurtunity to have any questions they may have answered so they can prepare the material mostly on their own. Actors are usually called to the venue 2 hours before the event begins for the rehearsal and speed through and a short break before go time. Murder Mystery & Mayhem LLC. is contracted by public and private individuals, groups, and foundations to present interactive theatrical entertainment.
