Fiona Makeup

I am Fiona Tyson, a makeup artist based out of as well as born and raised in New York City. I have always been in love with the art of transformation, be it guilding the lily of a beautiful face or making someone look horrifying. I have played with art and color my whole life and tried to ween that into a design major at Emerson College where I originally studied Costume Design. Whereupon learning that I couldn't sew I experimented more with makeup, which came naturally with knowledge of highlighting/shading, color theory, etc.. With that the face became my canvas, and I've been doing makeup ever since. I also fine-tuned my skills at the Joe Blasco Makeup School for Film and Television to learn more about makeup in relation to the medium that captures it. With my background in Costume I have a good sense of putting an image together with styling and makeup, and I seek to use all my collective creative abilities to create some stunning images.
