Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
                Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.
                              And we are never, ever the same.

I'm a mother of three boys 23, 21 and 20.  In 2002 I was in a life altering car wreck. I was left with a  damaged spine that required spinal fusion. The doctors told me I had permanent nerve damage to my left leg and to expect that I would have to modify my life accordingly. Not wanting to believe this prognosis I went about reclaiming my life. The road back was hard. There were days I wanted to give up. There were days when I started to think maybe I should just modify my life as the doctors had advised me and not pursue my passions. Thankfully I was just stubborn enough to push on and I can now say I'm "good as new" .

Today I am a Personal Trainer. My clientele are diversified. Some are recovering from injury, others are elite athletes and, yes, there are some just trying get into the best shape of their lives. I'm so honored and humbled to help them on their journeys.

I'm still training myself. I'm following my life long passion to be a dancer. I'm involved in Ballroom, Hip Hop and a few other forms of dance. I might not make it on Dancing with the Stars..... ha ha but I'm having a ball....... no pun intended :-)

It is my hope that my story will inspire others. I was thankfully physically fit at the time of the accident and I attribute much of my recovery to this fact. I was also blessed to be surrounded by people would inspired me daily to be better. They believed in me.


              Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass......
                      ...It's about learning to dance in the rain.
