RATES:
I'm building a portfolio, so don't be scared to ask about trade.
If the work does not offer head shots I can use on MM and internet portfolio use, I require pay.
I'd like credit whenever possible (MM, Myspace, any sold works that give credit, etc...)
Travel:
Work and finances limit me to in-state work, or carpooling.
If you can come to my area or split expenses for gas and/or travel, I'm yours!!
ME
I'm a beginning MUA. I'd like to gain more experience and expand my ideas for the creative uses of all facets of the art world.
I have most experience with natural/neutral makeup, glamour, goth/alternative looks and some latex, FX and blood experience (in bulk) with zombies for film.
WHAT I'M WORKING WITH
I intend to be entirely transparent as far as my skills, experience level, and supplies.
I will not take a job I am not equipped for, for your benefit!
My supplies include Smashbox, Avon, Lancome RCMA, and more.
I am prepared to immediately purchase a new things that may be needed for paid work, or very specific projects.
I may be new to the Makeup business, but I may be the biggest health/cleanliness/safety freak you know.
I'm always working towards using more hypoallergenic, natural, and high quality materials.
NOTES FOR ALL MM MEMBERS
Models: Having a makeup artist is a great option that will improve your images and provide a level of safety by having a 3rd party- Let escorts off the hook!
I am fine with using your own makeup on you if you have an allergy or some other difficult skin issue.
Photographers: Along with makeup, I love to develop themes and concepts. If you are in need of a vision and an MUA to help create it- I'm your gal!
Wardrobe and other Stylists: I am more than happy to team up, and follow your creative instructions.
MUAS: I would love to have the opportunity to assist, apprentice, or observe someone more experienced than myself.
On set/location: I don't mind helping out on any production details, with hair, or holding a reflector, but I'm not fully equipped for anything other than makeup.
I also model (#44710) and am more than happy to do my own makeup and that of other models I am working with.

I am bringing something to Springfield that has never been done the way we are doing it. We start by finding a good location (Aug 2nd, Nightclub Jewel 504 W College Street Downtown) we then advertise for models and photographers, (20 models & 10 photographers). It is first come first serve for the models, the photographers will have a couple barrels to jump. We don't do "guys with camera's" standing around. As soon as we are paid with a paypal account, the model or photographer is on the list. The charge is a very low $50.00. That pays for the entire day.
We then serach out MUA's, Hair stylists, Wardrobe, and anyone who wants promotion in trade for product. No one really spends too much money this way. The wardrobe people will keep the stuff we use just let us barrow it for the shoot. And the hair makeup people will only spend time and product. In the end, the Photographers are required to provide 4 edited photo's of each model they shoot and are given thirty business days.
If you break it down a model shoots with 5 photo people of the 10 they will get 40 pictures. A photographer shoots 7 or 8 of the models they will have 7 or 8 new faces for portfolio use. And lets face it, alot of people pay $300 to $1000 for a set of 30 Professional pics.
Wardrobe, MUA's, and hairstylists will recieve copies of all the pictures. They can use them to promote their creative style's. Were hoping that we will be full and able to do these shoots every other month to every month in the future. It really works out well for everyone involved. Even if a person doesn't want to model but wants to sample some different taste's from photographers and keep a sexy collection of fun photo's. It's cheap enough they could join us 3 or 4 times a year.
