BearskinBareskin

I've been working with various photographers on a project called Bearskin~Bareskin. I'ts basic theme is me nude with this bearskin I unexpectedly aquired from my mother. If I get enough interesting and varied images i can possibly put together a "coffee table book" which also will be a sort of diary of my thoughts/trivia regarding this bear and other bears, and information on hunting for sport. I want to educate as well as create art. It's still in the embryonic phase, but it's taking shape.If you are interested in finding out more or participating, please contact me.

Together with many wonderful photographers, and their various styles, this book will ultimately will tell the story of "Ursula" my bear...and perhaps enlighten people a little more about the ongoing practice of hunting for sport in this country.

It will hopefully present the bear in all its images from fearsome to cuddly, from maternal to a foraging garbage digger. The lore of the bear along side the truth.

And hopefully Ursula will not just be a display piece on my chair for the rest of her inanimate days.
