Parting Shots

I don't consider myself a professional by any means but I think this site may offer me a place to compare my work against those who are better. In the past couple of years I've found a comfort level in photographing complete strangers doing unusual things but I do get turned down often because people are afraid of the camera. I also hope to find people locally through this website that are comfortable in front of the camera and allow me to focus on a more creative environment and improve my skills behind the lens. A recent discovery of David Chappells work has inspired me to try better controlled compositions, lighting and unusual concepts. I'd like to see where this journey takes me.
