Lucian Capellaro, a photographer and digital retoucher, lives in Los Angeles, California and for the past 10 years has traveled to numerous countries throughout the world pursuing personal projects as well as assignments for commercial clients.   

Skilled in technical retouching and color correcting, Lucian has been working closely with Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Animation, as the leading digital retoucher for both feature and animation films. He worked collaboratively with director, Michael Bay, and was responsible for ensuring color accuracy on publicity stills for the movie, TRANSFORMERS.  He also worked on publicity stills for Bee Movie, Kung Fu Panda, Beowulf, Madagascar 2, Star Trek, Monsters vs. Aliens, Things We Lost in the Fire and NBC’s Life.  Additionally, Lucian shoots publicity portraiture within the entertainment industry.

Lucian has retouched and color corrected editorial, fashion and fine art for prestigious publications such as Black Book, New York Times Magazine, Maxim, Life Magazine, National Geographic, Rolling Stone, Wired and Popular Mechanics.

Previously, Lucian was lead digital artist and production manager for Nardulli, one of the country’s leading post-production labs. 

Prior to joining Nardulli, Lucian was a Digital Imaging Technician at Techtronic Industries North America.  There, he was responsible for retouching product photography for in-store displays and product packaging.

A member of the National association of Photoshop Professionals, Lucian holds a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated in Lacoste, France.
