I am a licensed hairstylist with seven years of experience in the beauty biz.  Though I enjoy all aspects of cosmetology the styling of hair is what I love most.  I am happiest juggling a comb, hot iron, and a can of hairspray while my wrist band is covered in bobby pins and fingers in rubber bands.  The process of making someone over is one I enjoy.  There's nothing like the happy astonishment of a client as they look in the mirror and see the finished style to give you job satisfaction.  My general philosophy is to work with what the hair does naturally and enhancing it although I also enjoy experimenting with what hair can do and usually end up with results that defy nature and logic.  I've come to believe that with enough hairspray anything is possible. 
While I'm not a certified makeup artist, I do dabble.  Being a women I am stereotypically drawn to all things cosmetics related especially if bright and shiny.  My makeup collection has grown large enough that it can only be housed in a large tackle box.  I'm still learning and having fun.
I enjoy what I do and I like to think it shows in my work.  I want to hear what other people think about my work.  Whether you love it or hate it, constructive criticism is always welcome.
