Life is too short for flat lighting and way too long for diffuse glow.
I find it hard to classify myself sometimes. Most of my business is in food photography, and I shoot for many clients that you would consider fashion, but in no way would I consider my photos fashion (i guess i finally need to admit that

)
I like to do concepts for my shoots, and always have one clear image envisioned planned out for each shoot and consider anything else just bonus. I always feel like an image should feel unreal without looking fake.
I guess you would call me an art photographer in general, because aside from my food/commercial photos, the photos I like to do serve no purpose other than the image itself.
If its for a client, my models are usually provided by the client, so most of the work I do with people from here is just for personal projects or just to shoot for fun. Feel free to drop a line if you would like to work together.
Oh, and can never know too many make up artists.
