My tastes are eclectic. I love subtle and simple, yet am drawn to purposeful complexity. I detest artistic snobbery, and often suffer from imposter complex. I often make things up as I go along, preferring to get lost in the energy of the moment. I guess, ultimately, I strive for some sense of personal integrity from my work.

I am often asked what my influences are.  I honestly have a hard time answering this as I do not fully know myself. I know things that I like, and some are visual and so probably have some role to play. These would include Japanese animation and Vetigo graphic novels, most specifically Neil Gaimen's Sandman series; however, I also find emotional influence from music such as Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode. Perhaps I see my work as my own version of album covers, or movie posters, etc. etc.
