Hi, firstly, thanks to all the wonderful models and make-up artists I've had the great pleasure and privilege of working with over the summer (yeah, I know ... what summer?). If you like any of the photos on my page, credit is mainly due to the fantastic commitment, enthusiasm, and creative support that I've received from everybody mentioned. What you see on my page is a tribute to all involved. Lately, I've been shooting a lot outdoors and focussing mainly on nudes. Over the coming autumn and winter I plan to do more. And I'll be in the studio a lot more too. If you'd like to work with me, please get in touch. I'm looking for experienced models, intelligent and intuitive posing, and creative and interpretative understanding of my ideas. If you're good I'm happy to pay. Photography is one of my main creative outlets: and I just love taking pictures! If you feel a creative urge and understand what I'm talking about, then don't delay!

My photography is inspired by many things: art (especially sculpture and paintings), odd lines or passages here and there from literature (especially poetry), religion and spirituality (from a very wide range of diverse and varying beliefs), nature (especially sunshine, water, rocks, and trees), remote places, the four seasons, simple bold colours, music, song lyrics, auld bits of mythology, etc etc etc. Besides these, I'm also inspired by more abstract things like shapes and patterns, light and dark, and feelings of love, grief, anger, rage, etc etc. The wonderful expressive erotic fiery and sublime nature of a human female figure is then mixed into the photograph in varying ways along with with all these things. So besides trying to create images that are beautiful, I also like my work to have some (small) meaning too. In most cases the titles of my photographs are important.
