Deadstar Dro

I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grew up in New York City. I moved out of Brazil to NY when I was around 9 Months old but flew back and forth for a few years. Lived in Sunny Side and Astoria, Queens while I was in NY. When I was around 7-8 years old I got my first tape player and became a very big fan of music. I was always listening to anything and everything that was around, especially when I wanted to tune my parents out while they fought, or when people annoyed me.

When I received my first bass guitar at age 13 I began playing in bands and from there on I wanted to do anything that involved the arts. After Joining Deadstar Assembly, I began receiving endorsements from many different companies and had to model their products for advertisements. I had a lot of fun shooting the ads and decided I wanted to do some other type of modeling as well as the music thing. I have already shot with a few different photographers here on model mayhem and would like to start shooting with many more. In the long run, I'd like to be able to build a portfolio and shoot for bigger clients and go pro with the modeling as well as music. Music has always given me the confidence I never had growing up and I believe it shows in most of my photos.

At the moment I am looking to work with people who are more into the artistic side of photography. I will accept either paid or trade depending on what the project details entail. I'm easy to work with and down to earth. I also take direction pretty well.

Here I am today. Who knows where I'll be tomorrow.
