Photography started off as a hobby for me and has over time grown into a passion that I can't seem to get enough of. I love the local band scene and I have made close friendships with many of the local artists. It was only natural for me to start taking pictures at shows, which has grown to the point that I am a recognized photographer on the local scene. I am not the guy with some giant flash aparatus pushing people out of the way. I don't use flash with live shows as I believe that the show is about the band and the fans who have paid to see them; not about some photographer.
Out of the Band scene I began to work with local models in 08 and I am still progressing in a style that I think I can call my own. That is what has brought me here to Model Mayhem. I have enjoyed the work and the people I have gotten to know. I beleve that the work I do with models is a colaborative effort. That is why I will always meet with who ever I am working with face to face first. I prefer to get a level of comfort together before working together.
I am doing a lot of paid work these days, but still working on portfolio work where I find the interest. So please drop me a line and let me know what you would like to do. I am open to any new ideas.
