I am an MUA looking to connect with other MUA's, photographers, and models in my area. I am currently doing makeup at Clip Appeal in Lawrenceville, GA. I am not accepting any TF* shoots at thsi time, unless it is a really amazing concept and/or something that I don’t already have in my portfolio.
I am pretty easy going and I love what I do. I am very professional and organized when working on a shoot and I expect the models and photographers that I work with to be as well. All I ask is that my time isn’t wasted. With that being said this is what I expect from those that I work with:
Photographers
I need to know about a shoot at least two weeks in advance to ensure my availability. I ask that you please inform the models that an MUA will be available on set. I also like to have the MM numbers and contact information for the model(s) that we will be working with so that I can contact them and see their profiles.
Models
I require models to come to the shoot with a clean, moisturized face. Absolutely no makeup unless you have been asked to come foundation-ready. If you come to set with makeup I will assume that my services were not needed after all.
I have experience doing theater makeup while in college. I have been a freelance makeup artist since 2008. I am willing to learn because I know that at this point I don’t know everything and in this business there is always something someone can teach you. I am here to find work that will improve and diversify my portfolio as well as be a learning experience that I can draw from later.
