J.M. Gonzalez received his B.F.A. degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He believes a strong technical foundation is invaluable towards creating images the viewer will remember. He loves color and especially form, having trained as a classical dancer for more than fifteen years. Inspired by old Hollywood movies, art history, and the everchanging world of fashion- J.M. never tires of learning and growing in the field of photography. Some major influences include Erwin Olaf, Sophie Delaporte, Steven Meisel, Tom Hines, and Erwin Blumenfeld.
