Yes, Virginia, I AM in Vegas now. It certainly is a change from the New York-Washington-London axis where I spent most of the past 20 years. For one thing, there's sunshine, like, every day!! I'm even getting a tan, as opposed to my normal pale, vampiric complexion. Also (New York artists take note) wearing black in the daytime is NOT a good idea around here...I recently saw a stagehand from Chicago melt into the asphalt; all that was left of him in the end was a grip belt and some duct tape. But despite the plentiful sunshine I'm still a nightowl and it's here in Vegas, not New York or London, that I've finally found my Holy Grail...the 24-hour sushi bar!!!
Okay, all joking aside, I'm a photographer based in Vegas. I learned my trade running a photo studio in New York. Now I do headshots, portfolios, and small commercial jobs. My artistic photos have shown in a few galleries and shows.
I shoot TFP with select models that I think can help my portfolio. Mostly what I'm looking for is a great face, one that's unique and memorable...something a little different than the norm. I also like models who can get into a character and run with it. I love shooting musicians and concerts and have been known to do it for free....
MAKEUP ARTISTS/HAIR STYLISTS: If you've got a great artistic look you've been wanting to try, hit me up. I love unusual makeup, and I'm willing to give you the time you need to create something really spectacular. Note that all work is TFP unless we're shooting for a paying client.
A FEW NOTES:
- I don't pay models unless I'm being paid for the shoot.
- If we shoot TFP, I'll give you a disc on the day of the shoot. Please allow a little extra time for me to burn the disc (20-30 minutes if we've been shooting all day).
- All models must sign a model release, unless it's a commissioned shoot.
- Generally, I do not work with models under 18 or with plus-sized models. I do work with male models though.
- Escorts (no boyfriends) are allowed on TFP shoots provided you've cleared it with me ahead of time. Escorts are not allowed on paid shoots - no exceptions. Makeup artists make the best escorts.
